San Francisco - June 26, 2008- Global IP Solutions (GIPS) announced today that in connection with the Oslo Stock Exchange's approval for the Company to list on Oslo Børs, (see 20 June 2008 announcement), GIPS has resolved to carry out a reverse split of the company's shares by joining three shares into one share. The reverse stock split is necessary to fulfill one of the requirements for a listing on Oslo Børs. The board of directors of Global IP Solutions (GIPS) Holding AB (publ) resolved to carry out the reverse split of the company's shares by joining three shares into one share based on the resolution of the Annual General Meeting on 2 June 2008.

The 3-to-1 reverse split will be completed no later than July 15, 2008. No fractional shares will be issued. Shareholders holding shares that will not result in a whole number of shares following a reverse split will receive additional shares in order to receive the nearest number of whole number of shares rounding upwards.

An auction rate security is a debt security in which the yield is reset on each payment date via a Dutch auction. Due to current market developments, auction-rate securities have proved difficult to sell over the past couple of weeks for some holders.

The company expects to record a one-time charge in the range of $1.4 M - $1.6 M in the third quarter of 2007 to account for severance costs, including costs related to the recent departure of the company's CEO, and reserves against accounts receivable.

In addition, the company's revenue expectations for the third and fourth quarter 2007 are lower than previously anticipated. "We are disappointed that GIPS has underperformed against both market expectations and company capabilities. The reduction in operating expenses will align corporate resources and expenditures to current revenue plans and will enable us to better manage the company and focus on key market opportunities," said Chief Financial Officer, William Scharninghausen.

Through a book building process the company was able to generate interest for 8.2 million shares which translates to an over subscription of 235% of the allocated amount. The company will use the funds to capture the expanding VoIP market opportunities in both technology and market positions.

STOCKHOLM - July 15, 2003 - Global IP Sound AB, a leading provider of embedded VoIP technologies, today reported its second quarter results for the period ended June 30, 2003.
Revenues for the second quarter of 2003 were SEK 2,579K, a 171 percent increase from the first quarter of 2003 and a significant percentage increase over the same quarter in the previous year. Operating expenses were SEK 10,054K for the quarter – a 29 percent decrease over the same quarter in the previous year and nine percent decrease from the first quarter of 2003. Net loss for the second quarter of 2003 improved to SEK 7,475K, compared to a loss of SEK 14,089K for the same period in the previous year. The company improved its net loss position via the combination of increased revenue and reduced operating expenses, which included a headcount reduction in the quarter.

For the year to date, from January 1 – June 30, 2003, revenue is SEK 3,530K, with a net loss of SEK 17,479K. Cash at the end of the second quarter was SEK 5,531K.

In the rights issue GIPS will issue minimum 9.009.909 shares and maximum 15.665.410 shares. The gross proceeds will be minimum NOK 10.000.000 and maximum NOK 17.231.951. The proceeds will be used to secure the company’s financial capacity for continued operations.

GIPS AES is designed to handle the inherent problems of echo in the hands-free operation of PDAs and other small devices when communicating over packet-switched networks.

“GIPS AES enables the hands-free usage of VoIP clients in Intel-based PDA devices. Our experience and customer demonstrations have shown that Global IP Sound’s team of engineers and products are well suited to help all VoIP providers enable the best VoIP quality in the market,” said Peter Siljerud at Intel Wireless Competence Center. It is the industry’s first suppression technology designed specifically for PDAs and small devices where the microphone and speaker are in close proximity. Because GIPS AES was designed to run on devices with tightly defined CPU power constraints, it is optimized specifically for the low power and small software footprint required for PDA applications. It is also well-suited for a variety of VoIP applications that require a low-complexity echo solution, such as 802.11-based cordless phones and softphones running on laptops.

GIPS AES can be embedded onto a variety of software and digital signal processing (DSP) hardware platforms, including Windows OS for PCs, PocketPC for PDAs, and TI DSPs. The module complies with International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Requirement G.167 and can handle both 8 kHz and 16 kHz sampled signals, affording flexibility in interoperating with different speech codecs. Marratech, a Scandinavian software company, has agreed to license GIPS SoundWare from Global IP Sound. Marratech Pro 3.2, Marratech’s new client software, integrates GIPS SoundWare technology to provide better than PSTN telephony voice quality to its customers even under adverse network conditions. Marratech customers will also experience superior wideband audio quality enabled by Global IP Sound. The OEM License and Distribution Agreement is effective immediately and will enable Marratech to license and distribute the GIPS SoundWare solutions, packaged together with Marratech's products, to third parties.

Marratech develops and markets solutions for e-meetings, i.e., software that enables web based meetings and conferences. Paolo Spada og Global IP Sound har i dag besluttet å skille lag. Styret har besluttet å konstituere Roar Hagen som ny CEO. Roar Hagen er co-founder og CTO i selskapet.
Global IP Sound er nå kommet i en fase hvor produkter og løsninger skal kommersialiseres. Det vil således bli lagt vekt på å finne en ny CEO med betydelig kommersiell erfaring innen markedsføring og kontraktsforhandlinger samt ledelse av teknlogibedrifter. STOCKHOLM, 31 January 2002: Global IP Sound has been granted a Swedish patent for its NetEQ(tm) voice-over-IP enhancement technology. The patent, for a "method and arrangement in a communication system", relates to technology for improved packet loss robustness and reduced latency when transmitting voice over packet networks, including the Internet. NetEQ, a receiver-end application, uniquely combines an advanced adaptive jitter buffer control into a single unit with error concealment; this combination allows NetEQ to adapt quickly and with high resolution to changing network conditions, and ensures high speech quality and a minimum of buffering latency.

NetEQ is one of Global IP Sound's industry-leading products for management and enhancement of voice quality over data networks. The patent was approved on 12 December 2001.
